For Deaf, Deafened and Hard of Hearing patients and staff
Please inform us of any hearing difficulty you may have on admission or Outpatient check in and we will ensure your needs are accommodated.
Interpretation Services
If you require an interpreter, please inform us, preferrably prior to your visit so we can arrange an interpreter for you.
Service Animals
Your service animal is welcome to come with you to your appointments. If you will be admitted to Hospital, please inform the surgical pre-admission/ nursing unit in advance to ensure that your service animal can be looked after.
Note that there may be some instances where other plans may need to be made, but every effort will be made to ensure you have access to your service
Sign Language Interpreter
If you require a sign language interpreter please let us know prior to your appointment or as soon as possible so that we can make the required arrangements.
